About Dr. Diazcadena

Juan C. Diazcadena, MD is originally from Colombia, South America. He moved to McLean, VA when he was 13 years old and graduated from McLean High School. After high school, he traveled back to Colombia to visit family and stayed to attend Medical School at the Universidad Nueva Granada. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Diazcadena returned to the U.S. He completed his Family Practice residency at the University of Minnesota in 1995 and went on to complete his residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in 1998. Dr. Diazcadena has been in private practice since completing his OB/GYN training and is currently on staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital and JC Lincoln Hospital.

Dr. Diazcadena’s special interests include minimally invasive surgery including Da Vinci surgery and in-office procedures, urogynecology, menopause and hormone replacement, and women’s sexual health and well-being.

Dr. Diazcadena is married and has 3 grown children. Dr. Diazcadena is an avid cyclist in his free time.
